When A Bathe Electrics carries work out in my home do I have to notify my local Authority or have it checked by a building inspector?

Adam carried out a full rewire of our first home (1940's 3 bed). He was extremely polite, professional and easy to communicate with. He took the time ensure he understood exactly what we wanted and provided a detailed quote.

He also allowed me to work with him to do some of the prep and cleanup work to help get finished on a tight timeline
