The First Conversation

Initially, the client originally contacted me as they wanted a few extra sockets and light fittings installed. I do not think that they wanted an electrical facelift at that point.

The Second Conversation

However, during the consultation stage, it became apparent that they wanted to maximise the functionality and the aesthetics of the electrical installation in their home. It made sense that while they were having their house renovated, I did more extensive work to their home.

The client chose the various fittings to match the new interior of their home and A Bathe Electrics installed them.

Here you can see how I added additional spotlights to their kitchen ceiling. First, the wires were fed through the cavity between the floors, then the fixtures were added and the surrounding area made good. The finished result gives a cleaner, more modern appearance that is more in keeping with current tastes.

Although the customer didn’t need to have a full rewire, they did have extra sockets added and fixtures replaced throughout the kitchen. The work carried out in their home provided the facelift they were seeking. The new ceiling light installations really improved the appearance of many of the main rooms of the house.

This shows how important a thorough consultation period can be. It was beneficial for the client to think about their overall aim for their home and to adjust their plans with this in mind.
